Not really learning our lesson, we went out again in the evening to the Botanical Gardens for some open air theatre. This has become a summer tradition for us and a few friends. The company who do it, Heartbreak...

In our weekly fruit box we always get loads of oranges. We don’t eat a lot of oranges so today I made fresh juice. Lovely!

I’m really grateful to be part of a loving community of radicals and dreamers. Over the last couple of days I’ve just become very aware of the quality people who are part of our lives and who support, love, encourage and challenge us.

Out in the peak district around Castleton, its so beautiful.
As ever (it seems) things are hectic but fun this weekend. We’ve got our final form weekend - a mix of retreat, celebration and commissioning. The car is very full, we’ve bought a lot of food and I’m excited. While we’re away a couple of guys from the USA are coming to stay in our house. They’re in Sheffield for our church’s annual visitors week. Its always fun...

A few of my friends were at the conference in Harrogate where this happened a month or so ago. Its a story of God just doing something plain weird and the video on both sites is very cool! I’d like to get to the point where this kind of thing doesn’t seem so unusual any more.
